When Were We Founded?
Jan Soaps & Body Care was officially founded in April 2020.

What is Jan Soaps & Body Care?
This is a bath care and skin care line that is specifically for people with dry and sensitive skin. We can have skin issues and still us appealing products. No more highly medicated smells and mixing multiple products together to have one that will work. Jan Soaps & Body Care is dedicated to provided a royal experience for your skin and your kids too.

Why?
During a time when it was difficult to get the basic necessities in your home, I continued to suffer from eczema and hidradenitis suppurativa. These two skin conditions require the opposite of each other. Eczema requires me to moisturize A LOT with very specific moisturizers because my skin is extremely dry and rough if I don't moisturize. Hidradenitis suppurativa is a skin condition that turns a regular hair bump into full abscess. One clogged pore could be catastrophic. To maintain this condition I have to keep as much moisture as I can away from my skin and make sure I don't use products that will clog my pores. Of course there are some other things I do to make sure these conditions are maintained but we're talking about the parts that relate to my skin care routine. Lol. I was TIRED of going through the tug of war between these two skin conditions. So I created my own.

Where Did the Name Come From?
The name Jan is my aunt's name. She was a vibrant woman and we lost her too early to cancer. My 2nd niece is named after her. We call her Baby Jan and she is vibrant, funny, and a light on her own. The name of this company is for my aunt and the beautiful light that was passed on to our family...the same light I see in my mother, aunts, sister, and nieces.
